Dorothy Joan “Dottie Jo” Hansen Taylor, 75, died Dec. 20 in Austin. She was born May 16, 1934 in Washington on the Brazos, Washington County to Dr. Marius Hansen and Dorothy Day Hansen.

She is preceded in death by former husband, Welton Taylor of Bastrop and her parents.

She is survived by children Jim (Rue Ann) Harrington, Billie Jo (Joe Donald) Long, Virginia Harrington Coy and Carol Marie Harrington and Royce Clayton; and three grandchildren

A private burial is planned. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 16 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 414 E. McAlpine, Navasota.

Arrangements are by Nobles Funeral Chapel, Navasota.
