In their first district game last Friday, the varsity Tiger soccer team fell to Del Valle 7-0 at home.

“The game Friday night was an excellent example of how 3A and 4A schools do not match up as it relates to UIL district competition,” said head coach Tom Hauser. “Del Valle is a very skilled and athletic team and we just could not match up with them player for player. The Tigers played very hard throughout the game, but could not manage a goal despite their efforts to score.”

The Tigers had several attempted shots on goal from Matt Swartz, Danny Davis, Josue Borja and Corey Smith.
