Gary and Kathie Nitsche of La Grange announce the engagement of their daughter Kaci, to David Paden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Paden of Anahuac and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kovar of La Grange. Nitsche is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Namken and LaVerne Falke of Giddings, and the late Robert Nitsche and the late Herbert Falke. Paden is the grandson of Ann Friedel of Smithville and the late Jerome Friedel and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Paden. Nitsche is a 2009 Magna Cum Laude graduate from Texas State University of San Marcos and is a Radiation Therapist for Northwoods Cancer Center in The Woodlands. Paden is a 2009 graduate from Texas State University and is a project engineer for SpawGlass Construction Corp. in Houston. The wedding will be held Feb. 20 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange.
