The Saints Played in Paige
There is a group of people in Paige that got together some years ago and started a super bowl tradition – Tailgating Paige Style. We roasted a whole hog in a Cajun microwave, boiled shrimp with sausage, potatoes and corn, made hot wings, gumbo, Shrimp Etouffee and so much more. The first place winner of the Stuffed Jalapeno Pepper Contest was Carla Webb.
Pepper Judges, Chris Kempy, Joseph Lang, Brian Quinney, Cy Quaenbush, and Billy Sterling and Greg Webb, their leader.
Baby Shower
The Lang baby shower was Saturday at St. Andrews church in Paint Creek. There was a large turn out. It was a family baby shower with lots of new games. The men, women and children all played. Daddy Joseph fried the fish. Mom Amber stayed busy with guests, games and opening gifts for their new baby girl, Lang.
The proud grandparents are Daniel and Stephanie Novak.
