Eighth grade Lady Tigers are district champs

The eighth grade A Lady Tiger basketball team clinched the 2009-10 district championship, finishing 9-0 in District 25-3A play. The team had an 11-1 overall record and claimed second place in the Bastrop tournament, falling to 5A opponent Brenham by a score of 35-33. Standing from left to right in the top row are Macy Wilhelm, Cadie Jones, Valerie Harmon, Morgan Harris and head coach Sandra Odom. Kneeling from left to right in the bottom row are Alyana Chandler, Courtney Brinker and Kellie Rice.
