Music Night

Musicians Bobby Conley and Jim Webb were very good last Friday night. They were joined by Kenneth Cowan, aka Papa C. The potluck was also good. If you haven’t made it out for music night yet, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. We just visit with friends and enjoy the music and in the front room you can play cards or dominoes.

Crackers for Vets

Brenda Potter was invited to attend the Elgin EE Club Wednesday for their monthly meeting. The president, Margaret Gassenmayer, asked the members to adopt the “Crackers for Veteran’s” program as a year-long project. During the meeting they decided to pass the hat and they donated enough money and crackers to feed 612 veterans. Many thanks for their generous donations.

They also received $75 from the VFW in Elgin Wednesday.
