Leslie E. Wilson, serving in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan has been promoted to Sergeant. She is stationed at Forward Operating Base Fenty in northeastern Afghanistan, Nangarhar Province.

This is Wilson’s second deployment overseas. She was deployed and served in Iraq in 2008. Wilson is a member of the 4^th Infantry Division, 704^th BSB, C Company. Her company is attached to a first responder U.S. Army field hospital, treating all military and civilian casualties in that area.

Sergeant Leslie Wilson is the daughter of Lee and Stephany Murdy of Smithville and Lt. Col. (Ret.) Robert Wilson of Mineola, Texas.
