Rafflemania, the Booster Club sponsored annual spring fundraiser for Brown Primary School will be held on Thursday, March 11 in the Smithville High School cafeteria from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event features a raffle of theme-oriented baskets and a dinner consisting of chopped beef sandwiches or a sausage wrap from Zimmerhanzel’s Bar-B-Que, with chips and a drink.
The Raffle
Each classroom and school group at Brown Primary will sponsor a theme-oriented basket. Tickets to win the baskets can be purchased on the night of Rafflemania or pre-ordered through the school.
On the night of Rafflemania participants will drop their tickets into a container at the basket that they would like to win. There is no limit to the amount of tickets that can be bought but you could win a basket without spending a lot of money. Ticket containers are then collected and the winning ticket is drawn for each basket. Ticket drawings for the theme-oriented baskets will begin promptly at 7 p.m.
Themed Baskets
The baskets are spectacular and themes this year include: “Movie Mania”, “Family Fun Night”, “Outdoor Fun”, “Chill’n & Grill’n” “Yard Man”, “Kitchen”, “Spring Garden”, “Bath & Body Works”, “Taste of the Town”, “Let’s Bake”, “Books”, “Techno Treasure Trove”, “Summer Fun”, “Toyland”, “Fun & Games”, “Study Time” and “In the Yard”.
