Josephina Perez Meza, 78, born on February 2, 1932 the youngest daughter to Guadalupe Jimenez and Thomas Perez in Encarnacion, Jalisco, Mexico passed away Tuesday morning, June 22, 2010.

Later she moved to Chihuahua, Juarez, Mexico, where she met the love of her life, Abelardo, Meza.  They married and made El Paso, Texas their home for many years, where they raised a son and two daughters.  After her husband’s passing, she moved to Austin, Texas and later spent the last few months of her life in Smithville, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Abelardo; her only son, Jose Luis Perez; both her parents; and her sister, Maria Soriano.

She is survived by her two daughters, Nora and husband Ronnie McKeown of Smithville, TX and Nellie Meza of Buda, TX; one grandson, Reece McKeown; two granddaughters, Mariah Meza and Netanya McKeown.
