Gene Autry Evans, 70, died Aug. 1, 2010. He was born July 5, 1940 to Autry Lee and Bertha Ainsworth Evans in Corsicana. He was the owner/operator of the salvage yard on Zapalac Road.
He was preceded in death by his wife Robin and his parents.
A memorial service was held at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 2 p.m.
