The Child Evangelism Fellowship will resume their after-school Good News Clubs at Smithville Elementary and Brown Primary schools.

The Good News Club begins at Smithville Elementary on Sept. 7 in the portable building No. 400. It is open to all boys and girls in grades 3 thru 5. The club begins at 3:45 p.m and ends at 5 p.m.

The Good News Club begins at Brown Primary on Sept. 16 in the cafeteria and is open to boys and girls in grades Kindergarten thru second. The club begins at 3:10 p.m. and ends at 4:15 p.m.

Each club works in cooperation with public schools to supplement children’s education with biblical principles.

The time includes songs, Scripture memory, a mission story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme.

Children attending must have a permission slip from their parents. They will be available at Parent’s Night on Aug. 19 and can be received by mail by calling Donna Strom at (512) 321-8384.
