Jimmie B. Thomas of Cedar Creek, Texas passed away on July 20, 2010.

He was born in Santa Monica, California on October 21, 1934. He was 76 years young.

He is survived by his loving wife Jerry Thomas a native of Fort Worth, Texas and five wonderful Children, Jimmie Thomas of Tulsa, Oklahoma,  Michael Thomas of Eagle, Idaho, Steve Thomas of Moreno Valley, California, Jeana Thomas of Cedar Creek, Texas and Johnnie Thomas of Smithville, Texas.  Additionally, he is survived by 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Jimmie was a proud American and a devoted loving husband, father and grandfather.

He served 43 years with the United States Postal Service. In addition, he spent 33 with the United States Air Force as a reservist with the 146th Tactical Airlift Squadron, in Van Nuys California. He was a Senior Master Sergeant upon his retirement.

Jimmie was an active member of Family Worship Center in Elgin, Texas.

His final journey was on July 26, 2010 where he was honored with full military honors at his internment at the Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.

He will be dearly missed by all whom knew him and loved him.
