Towards the end of this month, Aim for Success, Inc., will be presenting their nationally acclaimed “Achieve Success” program to the students and parents of Smithville Junior High and Smithville High School.
The Aim for Success motivational programs have educated over 1.5 million young people across America during the past 15 years on topics such as sex, drugs and alcohol.
Achieve Success examines the problems of teen pregnancies, STDs and emotional scars and addresses the issue of how to live an abstinent lifestyle.
Students learn that avoiding sexual activity until marriage provides freedom from pregnancies, STDs and regret, which gives them the freedom to fulfill their dreams and goals.
The parent program, which will be presented on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Red Brick Auditorium, is a preview of the student presentation where parents will learn creative ways to easily talk with their children about sex and encourage them to avoid sexual activity until marriage.
The following morning at 8:30 a.m., sixth to twelfth grade students will be given their presentation.
