Warren and Tracy Carver, of Smithville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Lynne Carver, to Donovan Ian Dillon.

Donovan is the son of Brett and Dina Dillon, of Seguin.  Lauren is the granddaughter of June (and the late Sam) Sorensen, of Smithville, and Ellen (and the late Walt) Carver, of Albuquerque, NM, (formerly of Smithville).

Donovan is the grandson of Jim and Nelda Dillon, of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, and Diana Valencia, of Cherry Valley, California.

Lauren and Donovan are both students in the Athletic Training program at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin.

Lauren will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in May 2011, and Donovan will graduate with the same degree in May 2012.

The wedding will be held at McKinney Roughs Nature Center near Bastrop on June 25, 2011.
