Cereal Thrillers, a children’s Saturday morning theater event, tells the tale of a pirate with big stinky feet who plans to ruin Smithville’s world record attempt for the largest bowl of cereal. The pirate’s dastardly plan is foiled by a heroic sea captain and a colorful cast of flaky characters, all of whom will delight kids and their parents according to writer and director john daniels, jr. (sic), artistic director for Playhouse Smithville.
The play runs on Saturday, Oct. 16, Oct. 23 and Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Now that cable and dish television provide 24-hour cartoons, Saturday mornings are not the same. We want to recapture some of the magic to make memories.”
